We test the hype, so you don't have to.
FarazAI started as one simple frustration: every new AI tool claimed to change everything, and most reviews just repeated the marketing. So we built the opposite — a place that tests first, and writes second.

- Our Story
Built from one too
many disappointing AI tools.
No big team, no sponsorships deciding what gets a good score. Just real testing, written down honestly the site we wished existed when we started exploring AI tools ourselves.
The Problem
Hype was louder than honesty.
Every week brought a new AI tool promising to change how we work. The reviews online were either paid placements or surface-level summaries of a landing page nobody was actually sitting down and using the thing.
The Approach
Use it first. Judge it after.
Every tool on FarazAI gets used on real tasks before a single word is written about it the same way you’d actually use it, not a five-minute demo. If something falls short, the review says so.
The Standard
Independent, every time.
No tool pays to be reviewed and no score is adjusted after the fact. Affiliate links may help keep the lights on, but they never decide what gets recommended, the testing decides that.
The Goal
One place worth trusting.
The aim isn’t to cover every AI tool that launches it’s to give clear, honest answers for the ones that actually matter, so you can make a decision in minutes instead of hours.
What We Stand For
The rules we don't break.
A short list, but every review, comparison, and post on FarazAI is held to it.
Hands-on or it doesn't get published
If we haven't personally used a tool on a real task, it doesn't get a review. No summarizing landing pages.
Scores aren't for sale
Sponsorships and affiliate links never influence a rating. A bad tool gets a bad score, full stop.
Plain language, always
If we haven't personally used a tool on a real task, it doesn't get a review. No summarizing landing pages.
We say when we're wrong
Tools change fast. When a review goes stale or a verdict no longer holds, we update it visibly.
The downsides get a section too
Every review covers what a tool gets wrong, not just what it gets right. That's the part hype skips.
Written for the reader's time
Every post earns its length. If the verdict fits in three lines, it gets three lines not ten.
How We Test
The same process, every single time.
Consistency is what makes scores comparable across tools so every review follows the same steps.
01
Use it on a real task
Not a sandbox demo an actual project, document, or workflow that mirrors how readers would really use the tool.
02
Compare against alternatives
Where direct competitors exist, we run the same task across them to see what actually sets a tool apart.
03
Check pricing against value
A tool can be excellent and still not worth its price. We weigh both before scoring.
04
Write the honest verdict
Strengths, limits, and who it’s actually for published as a clear score, not a sales pitch.
05
Revisit when things change
AI tools update constantly. When a major change ships, the review gets revisited and corrected.
